Bharatha Rashtra Samithi Vidhyarthi Vibhagam is the student wing of Bharatha Rashtra Samithi (BRS), formed to encourage student participation in democratic and social activities. The organization provides a platform for students to engage with public issues, leadership development, and policy awareness.
The Vidhyarthi Vibhagam focuses on representing student concerns, promoting educational awareness, and fostering responsible citizenship. It aims to nurture young leadership by encouraging dialogue, discipline, and active involvement in social and developmental initiatives aligned with the party’s values.

After the formation of Telangana in 2014, student-focused development saw a historic transformation. Government medical colleges increased from 5 to 26, while MBBS seats rose from 850 to 3,915, greatly improving access to affordable medical education. Gurukula schools expanded from 298 to 1,022, and residential junior colleges grew from 146 to 737, ensuring quality residential education for rural, SC, ST, BC, and minority students. For the first time, 85 residential degree colleges were established, opening higher education opportunities for first-generation learners. Government nursing colleges increased from 5 to 23, strengthening healthcare education. Alongside educational expansion, youth employment also surged, with IT jobs rising from 3,23,396 to 9,05,715, and IT exports growing from ₹57,256 crore to ₹2,14,275 crore, positioning Telangana as a major hub for education, skills, and employment.

From the very beginning, BRSV has stood as the frontline student force of the BRS Party, committed to the ideals of justice, equality, and the Telangana movement.
BRSV played a heroic role in the historic struggle for the formation of Telangana. Its student leaders were not mere participants they were fighters who stood fearlessly on the streets, questioned injustice, and sacrificed their youth for the dream of a separate and dignified state. Their contribution to the Telangana movement will forever remain written in history.
What makes BRSV unique is that its leaders did not stop with protest alone. Many who were shaped by BRSV went on to serve the people from within the government, bringing their student movement experience into governance. They understood public problems at the grassroots level and translated that experience into meaningful service and policy-driven action.
BRSV continues to remain the frontline organization of the BRS Party, always alert, always active, and always fighting for students, youth, and the marginalized. For our leader, Sri K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR), BRSV and its student activists hold a very special place. He has always believed that students are the backbone of social change, and his affection and respect for BRSV reflect that deep conviction.
Even today, under adverse circumstances, BRSV remains unwavering. It is at the forefront of struggles against the failures of the present Congress government standing firmly with students and unemployed youth. Whether it is the delay in fee reimbursement, denial of scholarships, lack of job notifications, or the unfulfilled promise of unemployment allowance, BRSV is fighting relentlessly on behalf of crores of students and job seekers.
BRSV represents the voice of the youth, the courage of resistance, and the commitment to social justice. It is not about power it is about responsibility. Not about politics alone but about standing with the people when it matters the most.

BRSV is not just a student organization to me it is an emotion, a movement, and a life-shaping journey. To be a part of BRSV, the student wing that stood at the forefront of the historic 60-year struggle for Telangana statehood, is something I consider my greatest honour and lifelong pride.
My political and social journey began in BRSV. It was here that I learned how to dream for society, how to stand up for injustice, and how to dedicate my life to a larger cause. BRSV shaped my thoughts, strengthened my character, and ignited the fire to work selflessly for students, youth, and the people of Telangana.
Through BRSV, I was given the opportunity to serve in many capacities from student leadership roles to responsibilities as an , MP, MLA, District Party President, and later as a Government Whip. Each role came with challenges, but every challenge reinforced my belief that true leadership is about service, sacrifice, and responsibility toward the people.
BRSV taught me that social change begins with student consciousness. It taught me that the youth are not just the future, but the present strength of the state. Above all, these values were deeply inspired by our visionary leader Sri K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR), who showed us how a student movement can transform into a historic struggle, and how a struggle can build a proud state.
What I am today is the result of what BRSV and KCR taught me courage in struggle, clarity in purpose, and commitment in governance. My bond with BRSV is lifelong, and my responsibility toward students and youth will always remain my top priority.

Every responsibility entrusted to me from student leadership roles to serving the people as a two-time Member of the Legislative Assembly, holding party and governmental responsibilities carries the imprint of BRSV’s values. BRSV showed me that students and youth are not just the future of Telangana, but its living strength in the present. It proved that when youth are awakened, societies transform. Working within BRSV is not about politics alone it is about serving society with sincerity, discipline, and empathy.
At the heart of this journey stands our visionary leader, Sri K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR), whose leadership demonstrated how a student movement can evolve into a historic struggle, and how that struggle can build a proud, self-respecting state. His vision continues to guide my purpose and public life.
What I am today as Gadari Kishore Kumar is a reflection of what BRSV and KCR instilled in me courage in struggle, clarity in purpose, and commitment in governance.
